WHO DG Candidates Respond to IHR Clinic Letter Urging for Global R&D Agreement

In December 2016, the IHR Clinic was among 18 civil society organisations that published an open letter in the medical journal Lancet Global Health, calling on the 6 candidates for Director-General of the World Health Organization to set out plans to take forward work on implementing the WHO Global Strategy and Plan of Action on Public Health, Innovation and Intellectual Property.

As of January 18, 2017, five of the six candidates have have written correspondence pieces responding to the open letter, each being published by the Lanclet Global Health journal:
